Flexible Coverage Amounts

Members who are under the age of 60 may choose up to $1,000,000 of coverage to help protect your loved ones from the financial drain of accidental injuries. A Spouse/Domestic Partner can enroll for up to $500,000, and children are eligible up to $30,000 of coverage.

AD&D Rates

TMA Member AD&D premiums are based on your benefit amount. Premiums are paid quarterly and are due on the 1st of February, May, August, and November, unless you are enrolled in the monthly electronic funds transfer (EFT) program. Spouse/Domestic Partner and Child coverage is available as a benefit of your membership, however they cannot exceed 50% of the amount you elect. The rate chart below is based on the coverage amount selected and who is applying.

TMA Member AD&D coverage helps offer you financial protection if you die in a covered accident—or if you incur a loss due to an accident. The chart below breaks down the percentage of your coverage amount you would receive if you suffered a covered injury.

TMA Member Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance coverage is not health insurance coverage (often referred to as “Major Medical Coverage”).

This type of plan is NOT considered “minimum essential coverage” under the Affordable Care Act and therefore does NOT satisfy the individual mandate that you have health insurance coverage.

TMA Member Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance coverage is issued by The Prudential Insurance Company of America, Newark, NJ. The Booklet-Certificate contains all details, including any exclusions, limitations and restrictions, which may apply. CA COA #1179, NAIC #68241, Contract Series 83500.
