Lump Sum Benefit Payments That Can Be Used Any Way You Choose

TMA Accident Insurance pays a lump sum benefit that you can use for any purpose, including help with some of the co-pays, co-insurance, or other out-of-pocket medical expenses and non-medical expenses. TMA Member Accident insurance coverage is not health insurance coverage (often referred to as “Major Medical Coverage”).

This type of plan is NOT considered “minimum essential coverage” under the Affordable Care Act and therefore does NOT satisfy the individual mandate that you have health insurance coverage.
